Details
ZENNOR SW 44 SE 1/287 Treveal Mill - GV II Miller's house. Probably C17, remodelled in the C19 and extended in the C20. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with brick chimney over right hand gable end and another brick chimney over the rear left hand corner. Plan: irregular 2 room plan; to the left a smaller irregularly-shaped room, with very thick walls, and to the right of deeper room, projecting slightly at the front. C20 addition far right and behind. Exterior: 2 storeys. Slightly irregular 2 window north east front with approximately central doorway. Middle and right-hand part of house built forward. C20 door, circa late C19 4-pane horned sashes left and later 4-pane 2-light casements right. Interior: has large fireplace in right hand room. Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of Cornwall.
