MORVAH TREVOWHAN SW 43 NW 3/202 House at SW 40853537 including - front garden walls and gate II House, originally 2 cottages, including front garden walls and gate. Probably C18. Granite moorstone rubble with granite dressings. Slurried scantle slate roof sweeping lower at rear. Stone chimneys over the gable ends. Plan: Shallow double depth plan with 2 wide rooms at the front lobby entrance between. Probably originally a pair of 1-room plan cottages with entrance lobbies adjoining in the middle. Exterior: 2 storeys. Slightly asymmetrical 3 window south-east front. Doorway right of middle (formerly pair of doorways, left-hand opening blocked in the C19). C20 door and C20 windows to ground floor. Circa early C19 16-pane sash to first floor right, later horned sashes, left and middle. Interior: not inspected. C19 granite moorstone rubble walls enclose rectangular garden at the front. Gateway with C19 wrought iron gate aligned with doorway.
