9/155 Barn to north-east of Bellbridge Farmhouse 11.4.67

Barn. Dated 1774 with weathered inscription. Mixed sandstone rubble under graduated sandstone slate roof. Long low barn. Central cart entrance with alternate-block surround under segmental arch. Slit vents on 2 levels. Doorway to right has dated lintel with C20 loft above. C20 brick extension to left has built into its rear wall a late C17 square gate pier with ball finial, similar to that immediately in front of the farmhouse, but is otherwise of no interest. Further brick extension and C20 extension to rear are of no interest.
