6/31 Whinclose and adjoining barn 1/4/67 II

Farmhouse and adjoining barn. Dated and inscribed over entrance J. & J.W., 1770. Incised painted stucco with painted V-jointed quoins on painted plinth. Graduated greenslate roof. Barn of whitewashed cobbles; extension of painted render with Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Single-bay barn to left under common roof; lower single-bay extension to right. C20 door in painted architrave under shell hood with dated and inscribed finial. 2-pane sash windows in painted stone architraves. Extension has smaller 2-pane sash windows in painted stone surrounds. Barn has plank doors on ground floor and loft.
