ST GORAN GORRAN CHURCHTOWN SX 04 SW 4/116 Menagwins Cottage - II

House. C18, with additions and alterations of C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered stone rubble. Bitumenised slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end stack with brick shafts. Plan: 2-room plan with central entrance, each room heated from a gable end stack. There is a single storey lean-to of the C19 at the left and right ends. Exterior: 2 storeys, a nearly symmetrical 3-window front. Ground and first floors to left and right have a C19 16-pane sash. First floor has central late C19 4-pane sash. Ground floor has central gabled porch with C20 stable-type door. The right end has a single storey lean-to with 2-light casement at the front. The left end has a single storey lean-to which projects as a short front wing, with C20 3-light casement on the inner side and blocked window opening at the front. Interior: Not inspected.
