11/30 St Martins Cottage and adjoining barn

House and barn. Dated 1739, with initials J.M. over entrance. Coursed red sandstone rubble walls, graduated slate roof, end stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays, with barn to left. C20 door has chamfered surround with dated and inscribed frieze. One and 2 and 3-light mullioned windows to left have 2 and 3 pane casements. Later C18 sash windows above and to right of entrance are 2-paned and with glazing bars. Adjoining barn has red sandstone rubble walls and graduated green slate roof. Large cart entrance to left, with 2 rows of flanking slit vents.
