Large house, initialled and dated on pediment D.M. (or M.D.) 1726. Ashlar with rusticated quoins and eaves cornice to front; coursed rubble returns. Graduated slate roof with stone end chimneys. 'L'-shaped plan. 3-storey, 6-bay front has panelled door in architrave with segmental pediment; 2 sashes to left, 3 to right, and 6 to each floor above, all with glazing bars in architraves. Ornamental rain- water head to upper left. Range of outbuildings adjoining to rear not included.
