14/101 Former coach-house & stables 27.12.67 to north-east of Skirwith Abbey House (formerly listed as part of the outbuildings to Skirwith Abbey)

Former coach-house and stables; late C18. Coursed, squared rubble with rusticated quoins. Hipped, graduated slate roof with corniced stone chimney to north end. 2-storey, 6-bay front has some of original openings wholly or partly blocked; 2 tromple l'oeil 1st floor windows. Stable door and 2 coach doors to rear. South return has rusticated end pilasters and a blind Venetian window. Included for group value.
