House. spice cupboard inscribed: "I & SH/1742", later additions. Roughcast
with slate roof. North elevation of 2 storeys and 4 bays, the 1st 2 bays
later. Drip course to 3rd and 4th bays. Windows are sashed with single glazing
bars, but 1st bay has light at ground level due to slope of ground, and no
ground floor window to 2nd bay. Fire window to left of 3rd bay. Entrance to
1st bay and gabled porch between 3rd and 4th bays with half-glazed door.
Cross-axial stacks and gable-end stack. East gable-end has small lean-to
outshut. Rear has varied fenestration; ground floor windows only to 1st 2 bays,
with small light between. C20 porch to 4th bay. Interior has spice cupboard and
chamfered beams.
