GV II
Farmhouse now private house, with barn and stable. Mid C18. Squared blocks of red sandstone with flush quoins, under graduated greenslate roof with red sandstone chimney stacks. Stable mixed sandstone rubble. 2 storeys, 2 bays with right central barn and right stable: 3 builds, now under common roof. Central C20 door in stone surround. Yorkshire-sash windows in red sandstone surrounds showing remains of the removed central flat stone mullions. Barn has large off-centre segmental-arched cart entrance and blocked right doorway. Stable has paired flat-headed doorways under loft doorway, all with plank doors and stone surrounds. Marked as Lilac House on OS map. Listed for group value with Clematis Cottage and Sycamore Cottage.
