8/93 Gateway piers and walls for Eden Hall
GV II
Gateway piers and wall for Edenhall Hall. 1830s by George Webster for the Musgrave family. Calciferous sandstone ashlar. Square gate piers on chamfered plinths, the shafts with angle pilasters surmounted by caps with Musgrave family crest. Low flanking rusticated wall with flat coping; square interval piers, the wall turning to form overall U-shape and ending in similar piers, without the crests to the gate. Listed for group value with West Lodge.
