II
Farmhouse and barn. Early C18 with early C19 additions to rear and barn. Dressed grey and pink sandstone with white sandstone string course, eaves cornice and V-jointed quoins, on chamfered plinth. Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers; one original banded stone chimney stack and one C20 brick chimney stack. 2 storeys, 5 bays with left barn under common roof. C20 door in pilastered surround under segmental pediment. Sash windows in raised white sandstone surrounds. Barn has slit vents. Rear has outshut, the door dated and inscribed I & FT 1808. Rear of barn has plank door and loft door reached by external stone steps. Further barns adjoining the rear of the house are not of interest.
