II
Farmhouse and barns. Dated and inscribed over entrance R&BH 1714; early C19 barns. Mixed red and grey sandstone rubble walls with V-jointed quoins and eaves cornice, under graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers; banded stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays (formerly 5 bays) and lower left barns on 2 levels. Off-centre C20 door in painted stone surround. Sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone architraves; an upper-floor window blocked and at either end blocked firewindows. Barns have one stone-surround opening and one C20 opening. House has rear outshut and barn has rear plank doors.
