7/14 Low House and No.1 Low Moorend II

2 houses. Dated 1681 and inscribed C. & D.A. over side entrance, with C19 alterations. Whitewashed mixed rubble on large projecting plinth stones. Graduated greenslate roof with rebuilt stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays each, No.1 Low Moorend of lower roof line. Low House has one ground-floor chamfered stone-mullioned window with small firewindow to right, all others are C20 in C19 surrounds. Side-gabled stone porch covers entrance with dated lintel. No.1 Low Moorend has stone porch. Enlarged sash window to right of entrance, smaller fire window to extreme right and small upper-floor windows in original surrounds. Barn to left is not of interest.
