7/13 Moor End Farmhouse and adjoining barns II

Farmhouse and adjoining barns. Dated and inscribed on rear extension T.W. THIS BUILDING'S AGE, THESE LETTERS SHOW, MDCCXIX, THOUGH MANY GAZE, YET FEW WILL KNOW (1719). Whitewashed rendered walls with mixed rubble barns under graduated greenslate roofs; stone, rendered and C20 brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with barn to right under common roof; lower barn to left and rear house extension, forming overall T-shape. C19 porch over former entrance to extreme right. 2-light flat stone-mullioned windows, and an upper left sash window, all in painted stone surrounds. Barns have blank front walls with plank doors to rear. Mounting block to rear of left barn. C20 corrugated iron extension to right barn is not of interest.
