2/44 Former farmhouse and adjoining barn north- east of Roundhouse

Former farmhouse and barn. Dated and inscribed over fire window I. & B. B. 1702. Mixed cobbles and Skiddaw slate rubble with slate string course. Graduated greenslate roof without chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower barn to left. Plank door in chamfered stone surround. 2- and 3-light stone-mullioned windows, enlarged window right of entrance. Barn has central plank door and upper wooden-mullioned opening. Interior of house has upper floor removed. Outshut to rear has internal semicircular stone stair.
