Details
GOUDHURST HASTINGS ROAD TQ 63 SE (south side) 8/178 Little Bewl Bridge Farmhouse GV II House. C17 or earlier, refronted late C18. Timber framed and weather boarded earlier range, fronted with red brick and tile hung range. Plain tiled roof. Two parallel ranges the orginal and lobby entry plan. Two storeys on plinth with gabled roof and stacks at end left and at end right. Asymmetrical elevation with three light casements on each floor to left, central 2 light casement with boarded door below with flat hood, and 3 storey arrangement to right, with small 2 light window high under eaves, and 3 light casements on each floor below, set at lower level than left hand windows. Half-hipped rear range with stack to centre right.
