Small house. Probably early to mid C19; altered. White painted
roughcast on granite rubble, graduated Cumberland slate roof.
Single depth double fronted plan, plus small additions at both
ends. Two low storeys and 2 windows; square headed doorway offset
left of centre, with plain surround painted black and recessed
4-panel door; smaller doorway to right with similar door; windows
with plain surrounds painted black, that to the left at ground
floor a 16 pane un-horned sash, the others now top-hung casements
with glazing bars (9 panes to the right and 6 panes at 1st
floor). Roof with oversailing eaves and verges; ridge chimney and
gable chimneys all rendered and with water-tabling. Single storey
lean-to additions to both gable walls, that to the left with a
square window and that to the right altered as a garage. Forms
group with model Long Ridge farm buildings (q.v.) included for
group value.
