3 houses in row, with commercial premises. Late C18 or early C19, extended and modified in the later C19. Painted Flemish bond brickwork, tiled double roof to central valley. 3 storeys and attic, each 3 windows, all plain sashes. Each house has 2 tiled hipped dormers with casement lights, above square sashes to the second floor, but longer to No.48, and alternate sashes and French doors at first floor, behind an added verandah, which has a glazed front in 6 paired lights with arched heads to Nos 48 & 49, above a panelled lower section; No.50 has an open 3-bay verandah, with plain lower section as a deep fascia. Ground floor has a glazed front immediately below the verandah front, in 6 bays, but No.50 has a full-width C20 shop front. A continuous stone moulded cornice, blocking course and parapet, and each property has a large ridge stack to the right party wall. The original frontage is set back from the adjacent properties by approx 2m, which has permitted the later insertion of the verandah and glazed frontages. INTERIOR: not inspected.
