House in row. c1810-1815 (RCHME). Painted Flemish bond brickwork, slate mansard roof. 3 storeys, attic and basement, 2 windows; flat-roofed dormers, one with 16-pane sash, the other with some bars removed, above a full-height flat bow with plain sashes, and dentil cornice to the top level, with a plain sash to the left at first and second floors, above a 6-panel door with plain fanlight, on stone steps, in an arched opening with deep reveals. The basement has a 20-pane sash. To the right is a lead down-pipe and hopper-head. The basement area has a flight of stone steps, and is enclosed by wooden railings. A moulded cornice, blocking course and parapet, a stack to the right. The rear has an original dormer in a slate mansard roof, above plain sashes. INTERIOR has dogleg stair with stick balusters and turned newels, straight through an elliptical-headed opening in the lobby. (RCHME: Dorset, South-East: London: 1970-: 353).
