Pair of cottages at end of row. Late C17. Dressed limestone, tiled roof with stone and brick axial and gable end stacks and coped verges. Single storey and attic, 3 windows. C20 door to No 54 with 3-light recessed hollow-chamfered mullioned casement and square stone bay with hollow-chamfered mullioned casements to left. No 55 has 4-panelled door in chamfered stone case with 3-light mullioned casement to right. Three full gabled attic dormers have 3-light recessed hollow-chamfered mullioned casements and coped verges. Left return of No 54 has 2-light mullioned casement to first floor and single light to attic. To rear are two gabled C17 wings; No 54 has 3-light and single chamfered casement and No 55 has glazed door and single, 3-light and 4-light mullioned casements. Interiors have chamfered beams with stepped stops and open fireplaces; No 54 has plank and muntin partition and cyma-moulded stone fireplace surround to first floor.
