Pair of estate cottages, now one house. 1853 on datestone on south side. Flemish garden wall bond brick with limestone dressings, tiled roof with fishscale tile bands, brick stacks. Single storey and attic, 4-window. Entrances to rear; planked door to left and right with 2-light cast-iron latticed casement to side under one hoodmould, two 3-light cast-iron latticed casements with hoodmoulds to centre. 1853 datestone to centre. Four gabled attic dormers with 2-light casements, mostly cast-iron latticed and partly wooden. Single-light casements to left and right returns. Rear facing road has one single-light cast-iron casement with hoodmould to left and right, two gabled dormers with single-light cast-iron casements. Interiors have original joinery. One of a row of five pairs of Fonthill estate cottages built for the Marquess of Westminster; each pair of cottages of a slightly different design.
