LORTON LOW LORTON NY 12 SE 10/145 Lorton Bridge (house) II Farmhouse,now private dwelling. Dated and inscribed over entrance P. & J.T. 1722. Painted roughcast walls with V-jointed quoins and eaves cornice. Graduated greenslate roof with brick and roughcast chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Panelled door and overlight in open stone porch with segmental hood. Sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone surrounds, showing remains of flat stone mullions. Barns adjoining and C20 extensions are not of interest.
