1/179 Well-Head and Well-House immediately south west of Combestone Farmhouse.
GV II
Well-head enclosed in outbuilding. Probably C16 to C19. Granite rubble. Outbuild- ing has corrugated iron roof with gabled ends. The possibly ancient well is situated in retaining wall which forms the rear wall of the outbuilding which now encloses the well. Wide doorway at centre of outbuilding with plank double doors. The well inside is built into rear retaining wall. It is built of large granite moorstones and is possibly the original well or spring at Combestone.
