5/165 Cartlodge approx. 80 15.7.83 metres west-south-west of Terling Hall Farmhouse, formerly listed as Cart Lodge at Terling Hall Farm

Cartlodge. C.1800. Partly of red brick in English bond, partly timber framed and weatherboarded, roofed with slate. 7 bays open to the SW, approx. 9 metres in span. Brick walls to left and rear (with 6 concrete buttresses to rear), timber framed to right. Low-pitched roof. King-post roof trusses of imported softwood, with pegged joints, bolted at base of king-post. Bolted knees to open front. A building of exceptional span in substantially original condition.
