Details

HOLCOMBE ROGUS HOLCOMBE ROGUS ST 01 NE 5/115 Hurley headstone approximately 1 - metre east of chancel of Church of All Saints GV II Headstone. Dated 1767 in memory of Richard Hurley. Grey limestone. Upright square- headed slab standing approximately 1.2 metres high. The front has an incised decorative frame of flanking fluted columns with entablature and head of scrolled decoration. The inscription is like cursive script and records the death of Richard Hurley in 1767 and also his wife Mary and son John who both died the same day in 1772.
