Detached house. Late C18. Rubble, the front stucco, slate roofs. A symmetrical rectangular front range to low-pitched hipped roof, with short parallel rear range to the left, and service wing to the right, parallel with the river. 2 storeys, 3 windows; sashes in reveals and on stone sills, 9-pane at first floor and deep 12-pane to near floor level below. Central panelled door under radial-bar fanlight in deep reveals. Brick stack to the left. The front to the road has a rubble gable wall, then a smaller hipped range with 4-pane sashes to segmental brick heads, and a further lean-to. The river front has a 12-pane sash in flush stone surround, and two 2-light segmental-headed small-pane casements. The hipped 2-storey wing in rubble with ashlar dressings has 1- and 2-light casements, and a single and double glazed doors, with transom light. There are 2 brick stacks to the wing. INTERIOR: inspected only in part, has a stick-baluster quarter-landing stair with polished handrail, various panelled doors, shutters to the ground floor main windows, and late C19 replacement fireplaces.
