SY6780SE WESTBOURNE ROAD 873-1/15/409 (North side) 14/06/74 Nos.1, 2 AND 3 with railings
GV II
3 houses in short terrace. c1830-1840. Rendered front, painted brick right gable, slate roofs. Each house has a deep service wing to the rear. 3 storeys and basement, two 6-pane sashes in reveals and to stone sills above an 8:12:8-pane oriel with dentil cornice, and at ground floor a 12-pane, with, to the right, a 6-panel door with plain fanlight (No.2 has C20 door), on 2 or 3 stone steps. A moulded cornice with blocking course but no coping, and 3 ridge stacks. The left return has a paired plain sash at first floor, and the right return has two C20 lights and a blocked door, with a lower service wing with glazing-bar sashes. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Nos 1 & 3 have spearhead area railings with a gate, and returned ends.
