3/102 High Burn Bridge (formerly listed as Swinton Bridge) 9.8.66 - II

Bridge. C18, widened by John Carr in 1796 (Pevsner). Ashlar with coursed squared stone parapet. Single segmental arch with voussoirs and hood-mould. Pilaster buttresses with arched niche to each. Band. Coped parapet. Half the bridge is in the parish of Swinton with Warthermarske.
