Details
IRTON MAIN STREET TA 08 SW (south side) 4/28 No 27 (Rosary House) GV II House. Early C18; raised, extended and altered later. Coursed limestone rubble; raised in brick; pantile roof; brick stacks. Originally 3-cell through-passage plan with outshut; outshut extended later. 2-storey, 4- window front. Irregular quoins. Part-glazed and panelled door to right of centre. Two 3-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding sashes to left, one to the right. Three similar windows to first floor, with a 2-light sliding sash over the door. All openings have thin timber lintels. Coped gables, and shaped kneelers to right. End and centre left stacks.
