8/83 Church of 6/10/69 St. Thomas
II
Church. 1792-4, remodelled 1876-9. Coursed, herringbone-tooled sandstone with ashlar dressings. Green slate roof. West tower, continuous nave and chancel 3 bays. Thin Georgian gothick style, with Y-tracery except east window, part of Victorian improvements, with cusped bar tracery.
Square, west tower with dripmould below bell stage. Round-arched openings except for slightly-pointed bell openings. Parapet stepped up at angles. Pyramidal roof with ball and vane. Sundial dated 1793 on south wall of nave.
