GV II

House. c1700, on older plinth, altered C19 and C20. Unevenly- coursed pecked sandstone and pantile roof (mostly renewed) with stone ridge copings and block kneelers. A single central stack and a large external stack to the east gable. Lobby entry, 2 cell plan with central stack. Originally single storey, raised by 3 courses to 1½ storey. 3 window front with lower outbuildings to the west. Boarded door in slightly chamfered doorway to right of centre. To right a 2 light casement in slightly chamfered opening. Fire window to left of door and then a further 2 light casement. Above 3 raking dormer windows, each with a 2 light casement. The outbuildings to right have a 2 light casement in former doorway then a door and beyond a boarded stable door. East gable 2 light casement in former doorway, and above a 2 light chamfered mullion window with casements. Rear front has off centre fire window in slightly chamfered surround with to the left a 2 light mullion window and to right a 2 light casement. Above 3 raking dormer windows, added C20, with 2 light casements. Interior has heavy chamfered beams, and a large inglenook to right of stack with inserted stone fire surround.
