House, probably early C17. Roughly-tooled coursed sandstone with weathered
quoins; first floor partly rendered. Pantiled roof with stone copings and
kneelers, brick stacks. Main house 2 storeys, 2 bays. Left part 1 storey
raised to 2, 1 bay, with 1-storey left extension. In main house a blocked,
chamfered doorway to left of centre. Modern boarded door in left part. 4-pane
casement to left of blocked doorway, and small sash to right. First floor of
main house jettied on close-set beams with curved ends. Left bay blank. Right
bay linked by enclosed first-floor bridge section to wall overlooking sea,
possibly once the inner wall of a garden, now swept away. Chamfered doorway at
first-floor level in the 1-bay gable end of the bridge section which was
probably planned as a gazebo. Left section has small sash to left of door, late
C19 sash on first floor and modern casement in extension. Blocked stone-
mullioned window in right return gable.
