ESKDALESIDE-CUM-UGGLEBARNBY B1416 NZ 80 SE 892046 (west side) 9/43 Boundary stone at Red Gate, between parishes of Eskdaleside-cum- Ugglebarnby and Sneaton - II Boundary stone. C18. Stone monolith approximately 0.6 metre high. East side inscribed: SNEATON L The stone was also a waymarker on the old road from Whitby to Pickering via Old Red Gate, John Cross and May Beck.
