EGTON A171 NZ 80 NW 841086 (south side, off) 3/3 Swarth Howe Cross - II Boundary stone. Early-mid C18. Gritstone. Square-section column, approximately 1.25 metre high, set in square socket stone. Inscriptions: West face South face North facet 175? G.K.? 1774 EGTON 1799 ROAD 1821 1841 185? Stone stands on the site of the medieval Swarth Howe Cross.
