House. c1840 with later extension. Squared sandstone on chamfered plinth with sandstone ashlar dressings; timber eaves band and cornice; slate roof. Central stairhall plan, 2 rooms deep, with service extension to right. 2- storey, 3-bay front, with single-storey, single-bay extension to right. Centre door of 6 recessed panels beneath divided overlight, approached by flight of steps. Plain door-case with bracketed cornice doorhood. 16-pane sash in flat surround over. Full-height recesses to left and right contain unequal 20-pane sashes to ground floor and 16-pane sashes to first floor, all with plain lintels. Stone sills to ground-floor windows and sill band to first-floor outer windows. Overhanging eaves on shaped brackets to hipped roof. End stacks rise through roof pitch. Rear: tall radial-glazed staircase window to centre.
