GV II
Row of cottages, C18 (Rockery Cottage and Crab Cottage) anti early-mid C19 in similar style. Coursed squared stone. Pantiled roofs of high pitch. Brick chimneys mainly rebuilt. 1½ storeys. Upper windows under small gables breaking eaves. These have copings resting on footstones. Splayed jambs and lintels to windows of older houses, Yorkshire sashes. 6-panel doors top glazed in similar surrounds. 5 bays in all. 1-storey, 2-window left extension to Rockery Cottage . 6 bays to Broom House and Winston House. Their windows are also Yorkshire sashes. 4 panel doors,oblong fanlights. Valley View is of brick but for north return gable. It faces west and is 3 bays wide, of 2½ storeys, having 3 gables breaking eaves. C20 windows. 4-panel central door in recent porch. Included because integral with rest of terrace.
