Red House Farmhouse and barn adjoining (former previously listed as Red House)

Farmhouse, dated 1692 over door, with alterations. Large coursed, squared stone, with moulded eaves cornice. Pantiled roof has stone copings anti curved kneelers; off-centre and end chimneys in brick and stone. In the walls, remains of blocked chamfered and stone-mullioned windows. Now two storeys, three windows, irregular and
of very wide proportions. Large modern casements. New door in moulded and chamfered doorway with pedimented hood removed. Two gabled rear extensions. At left a two-storey, three-bay barn of similar materials. Blocked door, first floor loading door and vent slits. One-storey outshot.
