9/56 Ionic Temple 4.1.55 (Formerly listed under General - I Temple in grounds of Duncombe Park (qv). c1730. Ascribed to Vanbrugh. Sandstone ashlar, lead roof. Open rotunda. Stepped podium with 9 Ionic columns supporting plain architrave and frieze and dentilled cornice. Domed roof.
