Circa 1898. Gothic style. Three storeys and gabled dormers. Three bays with projecting central entrance bay carried up as tower with spire (five light wooden belfry) and corner tourelles with gargoyle brackets. Fishtail slated roofs with ornamental leaded dressings. Grit stone ashlar. Battlemented parapet with machicolations. Casement windows of two-, three- and four-lights with pointed heads, mullions and transoms and hood moulds. First floor with bay windows with parapets with '1898' in plaque. Ground floor with granite Corinthian columns and pilasters carrying arched openings with cornice and parapet above flanked by lions rampant bearing shields. Shop windows with arcaded top lights and deeply recessed central entrance.
