Green Farmhouse and attached outbuilding

Farmhouse and attached barn and cowshed. Mid - late C18 with later
alteration and extension. Squared limestone with brick eaves course;
pantile roof with rebuilt brick stacks. Central-stairhall plan to house,
one room deep; rear extension added. 2-storey, 5-window front to house with
2-storey, 4-bay barn and cowshed to left. House: central C20 door beneath
2-light, 12-pane, horizontal sliding sash. To left, 2-light, small-pane
top-opening window to ground floor, and 2-light, 12-pane casement to first
floor. Remaining windows are 3-light, 18-pane horizontal sliding sashes.
Painted stone sills to all windows, and painted lintels to all openings.
Barn and cowshed: double board doors to right of centre and stable door to
centre left. Shuttered pitching window to first floor left and 6-pane fixed
light window to right. Painted timber lintels to all openings. End right,
and left and right of centre stacks to house. Interior: on the ground floor
doors to rear of stairhall and under the stairs are plank, with H-L hinges.
First floor room to right has plank and muntin partition, now papered over.
