SE 76 NW WELBURN TOUT HILL (west side) 5/120 Pair of gate piers at Hardy Flatts

II Pair of gate piers. Early - mid C18. Sandstone ashlar and vermiculated sandstone. 2 piers approximately 3 metres high on chamfered plinths. Vermiculated panels to each side. Cornice and moulded pyramidal caps. Forms entrance to the Castle Howard Estate.
