Farmhouse. Several builds: C17 core extended later to right and to rear; early C19 extension to left; raised and reroofed late C19. Coursed limestone rubble, with irregular quoins to central portion; early C19 extension in yellow/grey brick in Flemish bond; herringbone-tooled dressings; pantile roof and rebuilt brick stacks. One and a half-storey, three-window front with cross gable to left; early C19 single-storey extension to end left. Half-glazed and panelled double doors to centre beneath early C19 trellis porch. To end right, a former tripartite 12-pane sash window with C20 French door beneath continuous timber lintel. 16-pane sash with wedge lintel to right of main door, and two similar windows to ground floor of cross gable. Unequal 12-pane sash to upper floor of cross gable, and two late C19 gabled half dormers with 16-pane sashes and thin timber lintels to right. Centre and end stacks. Extension to left has a tripartite sash beneath segmental arch. Stack pierces left pitch of hipped roof.

Interior: open- string straight staircase with turned balusters, wreathed and moulded handrail, and elaborately-carved foliate treadends. Bressumers survive on both sides of the central stack and in room to right of hall is supported on a chamfer-stopped sperepost. In the same room is a corner cupboard with a keyed, round-arched architrave. Ground-floor room at end left is approached through a fine early C19 door-case with a fluted architrave and paterae in high relief. To rear of room are two fluted Ionic columns carrying an entablature with panelled alcove behind. The door is of 6 raised and fielded panels. Raised and fielded shutters and panelling survive to all ground-floor front windows.
