Stable Cottage and attached outbuildings

Stable buildings, now cottage and outbuildings. Early C19 with C20
alteration. Dressed sandstone with slate roof and brick stacks. L-shaped
plan. 2-storey long range of 5 windows, and shorter range to right of 2
openings. 2 segmental carriage arches to right of long range; 2 replacement
doors beneath divided overlights to left, and 16-pane top-opening window to
end left. 4 similar windows to first floor with original pivoting 16-pane
window to right, all with painted stone sills. Flat arches to all openings
except carriage arches. Shorter range has plank door beneath divided
overlight to left of centre, with 16-pane pivoting window with stone sill to
left, both with keyblock wedge lintels. Lifting door above. Openings to
right slightly altered, with C20 lintels. Coped gables and shaped kneelers.
End left and centre stacks to long range. Gable-end weather vane to short
range. Formerly part of the stableyard to Hutton Hall (qv).
