House. Late C18; extended and remodelled early C19. Dressed limestone with sandstone quoins; limestone rubble to rear; pantile roof; rebuilt brick stacks. Originally central stairhall plan, one room deep; full-height rear range added to form double depth plan. Two storey, symmetrical three window front. Central six-panel door beneath divided overlight. Sixteen-pane sashes with stone sills throughout. Flat arches to all openings. Paired modillion eaves course. Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks to both ranges of double span roof.
Interior: straight staircase with shaped handrail, ramped-up, with turned balusters and newel post. Reeded door and window architraves to both ground floor front rooms. Window panelling and shutters survive in ground floor room to right.
