House. Late C18 with C19 and C20 extensions. Dressed sandstone with tooled
quoins; pantile roof and brick stack. Single cell, direct-entry plan, with
outshut and rear service wing added. 6-panel door, with 2 glazed panels, to
right of 16-pane sash: similar window to first floor. Yorkshire Insurance
firemark over door. Painted stone sills to windows and painted tooled
lintels to all openings. Cavetto-moulded eaves course. Coped gables and
shaped kneelers, the left one renewed. End left stack. Left gable wall:
2-light, 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash, with stone sill and timber lintel,
to attic. Interior: staircase rises to attic entirely enclosed in moulded
panelling, raised and fielded to rear. Plank doors on strap hinges with
original door furniture. Ground-floor front room has panelled shutters and
2 fireplace cupboards with panelled doors. First-floor front room has
panelled window recess and basket grate.
