Dovecote and Barn15 metres to north of Dovecote Cottage.
(Formerly listed as Dovecote at Corner Farm)

Dovecote and adjoining barn, now domestic accommodation. Probably C17,
converted c1980. Barn of squared rubble, dovecote has alternate coursed
rubble and cobbles. Pantile roofs. Dovecote added to barn: square
plan, 2 storeys, 1 bay. Ground floor has board door to right under a
deep stone lintel. First floor: board door to left, C20 window to
right. 4 brick-dressed pigeon holes under eaves. Shallow, pointed roof
with ball finial. Barn to right: 3 bays, further bays to right
demolished. Quoins to left. C20 board door to right in quoined
surround with massive lintel. Central buttress with 2 C20 windows
above. Slit vents to left. Shaped kneeler and ashlar coping to left.
Interior - a door at first floor level gave access from the interior of
the barn to the dovecote.
