BOROUGHBRIDGE ALDBOROUGH LOW ROAD St Andrews Churchyard Chest tomb of Mark Smithson, at base of Church Tower, to south

II Chest tomb. Sandstone. Late C18. Fluted pilasters at angles and centre of exposed side; cornice. Two oval sunk panels with inscriptions commemorating Mark Smithson of Aldborough d.1789, a benefactor of St Andrews Church, and his wife. The latter inscription is rather worn.
