II*
C14 Nave incorporating Saxon and C12 fragments. Chancel and South porch rebuilt and West tower added 1888.
Sandstone ashlar. Graduated lakeland slate roofs. Pointed nave windows, square headed in chancel and tower except for main east and west large windows with Dec. type tracery.
Battlemented tower of 3 stages with short leaded spire, ball and vane, and prominent gargoyles. Diagonal buttresses.
Interior contains several fragments of Saxon sculpture and a C14 effigy.
