3/11 Gate piers, flanking walls, piers and railings to Copgrove Hall Lodge
GV II
Gate piers, walls, piers and railings Early C19 with C19 restoration. Ashlar walls, gritstone copings, gate Piers and caps, cast-iron railings. Gate piers approximately 2.5 metres high with recessed panels, deep cornice and eagle. Curved flanking walls: of 3 courses of stone with piers at regular intervals, approximately 25 metres long, that to left continuing to enclose the Lodge House (qv). The piers have a cornice and flat capstone and are linked by railings fastened to the wall coping. The railings are composed of short standards with ball finials linked by 2 plain rails. Included for group value.
